This is one of the county’s classic road rides. With three river crossings, 1,700 feet of elevation and rolling farmland, the Canby Ferry Loop will take you through cities rich in Oregon Trail history, mountains that house some of the counties best wineries and some unique bonuses not found on your normal ride. Ride your bike, ride a ferry and even ride an elevator, all in this classic route through some of the best areas of Mt. Hood Territory. For the Canby Ferry, make sure to bring your spare change or check (no debit or credit cards), as bicycles and pedestrians cost $2 to ride the ferry (one-way).
