Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. The Friends of the Ledding Library hold Sunday Book Sales every Sunday in the Library Community Room. Come browse hundreds of books, CDs, DVDS, jigsaw puzzles and book themed merchandise.
Waldo is popping up all over Milwaukie this July! The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting locally owned small businesses throughout the Milwaukie/Oak Grove area. Those who spot him can win prizes, gift certificates to local businesses and more! Find Waldo Local is a great summer vacation activity, and a wonderful way to check out local businesses! Participants can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Milwaukie!” passport at Spoke & Word Books. Then visit participating businesses from July 1st-27th and get your passport stamped or signed for each Waldo you spot! Bring your completed Where's Waldo Passport to the Meet Waldo Party on Saturday, July 27th, 2024! You'll meet Waldo, and all participants with a completed passport will receive a goody bag and an entry to win one of many Grand Prizes!

The latest exhibition at Artspace features new mesmerizing photographic works by artist Akihiko Miyoshi. Showing in Artspace’s annex gallery are multimedia works by artists Rose Dickson, Sarah Meadows, Dina No, Julia Stoops, and Joan Truckenbrod. In a whirl of artistic approaches, material explorations, and technological experiments, the artists in Line in the Cloud explore what is hidden, lost, and revealed.

Three day long summer farm camp for kids ages 6 - 8 years. At Farm Camp students will spend the week exploring our 58-acre organic working farm! Campers will participate in day-to-day life on the farm; and follow their curiosity as they taste fresh food from the fields, explore nature, plant seeds, and enjoy hands-on crafts, cooking and games.

Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.
