Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. To keep things exciting this years route for the twinkling lights has changed and this year you’ll now embark on a delightful journey down to the rodeo arena! Along your way, you’ll be dazzled by what's been crafted with over 200,000 shimmering lights and enchanting scenes. This half-mile walk will whisk you through tunnels of wonder, leading you straight to the arena, where a 30-minute Christmas tree show will light up the night with joy! After you’ve soaked in all those dazzling lights, head inside to warm your hands and heart with a cup of hot cocoa. And don’t forget to check out our over 30 festive vendors—perfect for finding those special gifts for family and friends!

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego's annual Holiday Marketplace has begun at Artspace! The gallery is filled with unique, meticulously crafted wares by talented regional artists and artisans, inviting you to celebrate local creativity and craftsmanship. Find a truly unique gift for a loved one or yourself and support your local economy. All proceeds benefit the artists in the show and free arts programming at Artspace.

Wreath Making Class Laurel Hedge Garden

Schedule a fun holiday event with friends and family. Wreath-making classes are a yearly tradition at Laurel Hedge Gardens! All greens, materials, and instructions are provided to make a beautiful wreath. Bring Clippers and you gloves if you need them.

Bigleaf Maple Sugaring Workshop Camp Colton

Address: 30000 S. Camp Colton Dr, Colton, OR 97017

Join Oregon Maple Project [onsite sugarers-in-residence] for an in depth look at the production of Bigleaf Maple syrup. Participants in OMP workshops will tour the Oregon Maple Project sugaring operation at Camp Colton, taste Bigleaf Maple syrup, assist with sap collection and other tasks on the maple farm, and gain hands-on experience with best practices in Bigleaf Maple sugaring. The entire workshop will be outdoors on trails, no matter the weather, so participants are asked to come prepared with proper footwear and clothing. Participants of all ages are welcome, though guests are asked to please leave pets at home. Accommodations can be made for visitors with disabilities.

Chunky Blanket Making Workshop Red Chair Farm

In this workshop, instructors will show you how to easily create a chunky 4'x5' blanket in your choice of multiple rich colors; Sea Blue, Chalk Pink, Misty Green, Vintage White, Gray, Silver, Teal or Purple. These are beginner level blankets and no experience or prior crocheting/knitting expertise needed. You'll walk away with a finished blanket, SO cozy!

This winter holiday cocktail class is a festive and interactive experience where participants learn to craft seasonal cocktails perfect for holiday celebrations. Participants will explore the art of mixology, mastering techniques to create both classic and innovative winter drinks. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn essential bartending techniques, discover tips and tricks for perfecting your drinks, and enjoy tasting your creations. This class is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season and ensure you will impress your guests at any holiday gathering. There will be a drawing for a cocktail set. Grab dinner at one of the food trucks too!
