WEST LINN

Located along the Willamette River, West Linn, Oregon, is a quaint community with a charming, historic main street featuring tasty dining options and access to nearby recreation options. The town has also become quite the destination for wine aficionados recently, as the area now boasts four fantastic wineries, offering wines as amazing as their scenic views.

West Linn’s Historic Willamette Main Street sparkles with charm. Whatever your palate, restaurants lining Willamette Falls Drive offer plenty of options. Lark Cafe covers all your breakfast and lunch needs, from a frothy cappuccino and flaky croissant to a mouthwatering Moroccan chicken salad. Chantrel Bar & Restaurant collaborates with local farmers and foragers to create a distinctive menu. Look out for special events, such as mushroom and coastal foraging dinners. Willamette Garage Pub + Food Carts boasts eight amazing food carts and a full bar. Weekend guests are often greeted by live music from local performers while enjoying a seasonal cocktail from one of their creative bartenders

Off Main Street has plenty of tasty finds, too. Grab a table at (five-0-three), where you can watch the care taken with each locally sourced ingredient in its open kitchen or at Bugatti’s Ristorante for Italian dishes made with its semolina pastas prepared daily.

Woman owned Sushi Kuni & Izakaya brings Japan directly to guests, flying in exceptional fish directly from Tokyo’s famed Toyosu Market twice weekly. Make reservations at its Omakase counter for a truly personalized experience. For the freshest ramen, visit Soku Sushi & Noodle. The dan dan noodles and firecracker rolls are not to be missed.

Beverages are an equal partner in the meal at Ale & Cider House, the largest social gathering space in West Linn. Order a bite from the rotating lineup of food trucks and sit back with a glass of its very own Queen Orchard hard cider or apple wine. At Nineteen 33 Taproom, pair your pint with a burger made with pasture-raised beef from Klamath Falls.

A former volcano now known as Pete’s Mountain has several top wineries. Enjoy a glass of pinot gris at Campbell Lane Winery and gaze at Mt. Hood from your spot on the welcoming lawn. A percentage of its sales supports local nonprofits. Tumwater Vineyard & Barrel House Tasting Room offers a stunning combination of rusticity and elegance. Inside, a large fireplace invites conversation over a glass of pinot noir, while the beautiful pond steals the show outside. No trip to Pete’s Mountain is complete without a stop at Pete’s Mountain Vineyard & Winery. It's open year-round on Sundays for wine tasting and live music and seasonally on Fridays for everything great about Sundays, plus flatbread pizzas.
