Outdoor Adventures In Mt. Hood Territory

There are some places people go to do one thing. But here in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory, people come to do all the things.

Head up to Mt. Hood any time of year for incredible action. Hit up Timberline Lodge from winter into late summer, where they have the longest ski season in North America. Throw in a little snow shoeing, nordic skiing, or book a memorable snowcat trek up to the Silcox Hut for an amazing evening of fun and food. They have also expanding their mountain biking options, having added some great lift-assisted trails during the warm months.

A short hop away is Mt. Hood Skibowl. They offer an unbelievable array of high-adrenaline options during the warmer months with ziplines, malibu raceway, treetop action zone and the alpine slide. Head on over in the winter months for cosmic tubing or hit the slopes at the largest night skiing area in the country.

We have excellent hiking trails with options to get you out and about year round. Check out the options, which range from high elevation multi-day hikes to walks through tree-lined preserves moments from city cores.

Be sure to bring your road bike, so you can travel along the Cascading Rivers Scenic Bikeway. Starting near Estacada, travel along some powerful rivers and through towering trees.

When you need to recharge, rest your head at a beautiful campsite, or treat yourself to some pampering at the Mt. Hood Oregon Resort. That way you'll be ready to do even more things here in Mt. Hood Territory.
