Snowshoeing 3 miles under the light of the moon is truly a magical experience in the Mt. Hood National Forest! You will love the snow-covered scenery in the dark forest while you discover the rich history of the area, learn winter survival strategies, find animal tracks and if you’re lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of the moon! Join the 36th Annual New Year's Eve Firework Extravaganza at Skibowl! Enjoy Cosmic Tubing until 11:45 p.m., a live DJ from 8:00 p.m. until Midnight, outdoor beer garden, ski and ride until 11:30 p.m. and fireworks at Midnight!

Timberline Lodge | Government Camp
Rock in the New Year with live music, a NW Alpine inspired dinner feast and a fireworks show! The first seating includes a multi-course dinner, access to Timberline Lodge, dancing, count down and a champagne toast!

Latino Outdoors-PDX invites you to a New Years Nature Walk at Scouters Mountain Nature Park. Join us for a walk along a mile and a half long loop trail through the forest and enjoy the view from the top of the hill, including Mt. Hood to the east, Oxbow Regional Park, to the northeast alongside the serpentine Sandy River. The walk is an easy-moderate walk.
