Le Petite Café, Happy Valley: The always delicious Le Petite Café, located inside of Happy Valley Station is offering a Mother's Day basket for two this year with an array of their best sellers and favorites. It includes two almond, marionberry cheese and plain croissants (total of six), a five pack of macarons and a jar of jam for $38.95. Preorder your basket before Fri, May 7.
Kyra's Bake Shop, Lake Oswego: For a mom with a tooth that is as sweet as she is, Kyra's Bake Shop has several gifts that will make her smile. But don't wait; you need to pre-order for pickup at the Lake Oswego shop by May 5. Their Mother's Day gift box includes a holiday cookie, chocolate dipped shortbread squares, a raspberry ripple coconut tart, blueberry lemon handpie, blackberry crumb doughnut and a strawberry jam-filled doughnut. Perhaps you'd rather get her flowers. Kyra's has a box of four edible flower cupcakes — two chocolate sunflower and two vanilla-raspberry rosette — that she may need to display for a while before enjoying.

Allium Bistro, West Linn: Allium Bistro is also offering a Mother's Day Brunch Box. You may order this takeout, family-style meal at $25 per person (minimum of two people, maximum of 10). Each box comes with fresh pastries, organic farm greens, roasted potatoes, fruit salad and olive oil lemon cake with your choice of a veggie frittata, chorizo frittata, quiche Lorraine with bacon or biscuits and gravy, as well as your choice of pork sausage or Carlton Farms bacon. Lakewood Theatre, Lake Oswego: Make some time on Sun, May 9 for the world premiere of the Mother's Day film M is for Mischief presented by 3 Leg Torso and Lakewood Center for the Arts! This movie starring Storm Large was filmed at Lakewood Center and is about an overworked, single mother who is unknowingly avenged by her four mischievous sons who discover she has been regularly mistreated by her deplorable boss, Mr. McDonald. Purchase tickets for the 7pm premier (virtual doors at 6pm).
Trail Distilling, Oregon City: During their special Mother's Day cocktail class, experience an evening of creating and learning about cocktails and spirit history. Enjoy tastings of your creations and take home the recipes. There will even be a drawing for a bartender's set. Please note that social distancing and masks will be required during this special event on Sat, May 8 from 7-8pm. With limited seating, spots are expected to book up quickly, so reserve your tickets soon.
Tumwater Vineyard, West Linn: For a classic and elegant Mother's Day Brunch in a stunning bucolic setting, make a reservation at Tumwater Vineyard on May 9 from 10-11:30am. Pete's Mountain Vineyard + Winery, West Linn: Lucky for us, Mother's Day falls on a Sunday, Pete's Mountain's main tasting day. They will be open during their normal tasting room hours (12-5:30pm) by reservation. But that's not all. "Tom & Mick Acoustic Duo of Nervous Jenny" will be performing live. (We really want a band tee shirt if there are any!) And Cafe de Crepe will have their food truck there. Plus, they'll also have special Mother's Day bags, a selection of Happy Candles and lavender bouquets from Park Place Perennials available for purchase.
The Rogerson Clematis Garden, Lake Oswego: And for the mom who can't get enough flowers, celebrate Mother’s Day weekend at Rogerson Clematis Garden. They'll have plants for sale, a potting demonstration at 11am each day, raffle and a docent-led tour at 1pm both days. Masks and social distancing will be required. Also, the plant sales area is outside on the the terrace area (west side) of the greenhouse. Visit Sat, May 8 from 10am-4pm and Sun, May 9 from 10am-2pm.
Markum Inn, Molalla: If your mom has dreams of seafood treats, make a reservation (outdoor seating available) at Markum Inn on Sun, May 9. Their special Mother's Day Brunch offers blacked shrimp deviled eggs for an appetizer or a Greek salmon salad with lemon basil dressing topped with heirloom cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, feta, kalamata olives, candied hazelnuts and pan seared, fresh, wild caught salmon.
