The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

Fall is a masterpiece in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory, with our trademark evergreens and brilliant foliage serving as a backdrop to a host of festive adventures. With so much to see and do, this guide will help you make the most of this beautiful but fleeting season.

Harvest activities in Oregon are plentiful this time of year. Enjoy the crisp autumn air at one of many farms throughout the area. Pick apples, go on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin and get cozy with adorable farm animals.

Back for the second year, the Mt. Hood Territory Harvest Trail is a free passport program that connects you with festive farms. Pick up a stamp card at a participating location and complete the activities (think: get lost in a corn maze, go on a hay ride, do a pumpkin patch or take a selfie with a goat), then redeem it for a cozy scarf.

Grab some apple cider donuts (the ones at Fir Point Farms are to die for) and a handcrafted coffee for the road. The landscape transforms into breathtaking reds, oranges and yellows against pristine mountain views. We recommend creating a playlist just for the occasion and bringing a friend along to capture the perfect picture!

If you want to stretch your legs, Lake Oswego's Gallery Without Walls offers a captivating outdoor art experience. Explore stunning public installations on foot — the autumnal backdrop transforms this already impressive exhibit into a truly magical experience.
