Taste Estacada's Craft Beverage Scene

Located at the base of Mt. Hood, there are great breweries and cideries in Estacada. Even better, they're all relatively close together. And with so many recreation opportunities in the area, there are plenty of ways for you to enjoy everything this charming mountain community has to offer!

Not far from the entrance to Milo McIver State Park, Bent Shovel Brewing’s welcoming public house and outdoor beer garden makes it the perfect post-paddle stop, complete with heated tents, fire pits and board games. Enjoy refreshing ales and lagers made with many locally sourced ingredients. Grab a bite as the pub offers delicious BBQ, burgers and sandwiches.

Located just out of town is Stone Circle Cider’s on-farm cidery. Stone Circle embraces the English style of cider-making, producing “scrumpy” style ciders with local apples and fruits and hosting seasonal family-friendly events. Their cidery tasting room has a cozy English feel, complete with walls lined with information about the history of cider-making. Outside, they have picnic table seating around their picture-perfect, spring-fed pond, plus lots of room for families to play and, new this year, a bocce ball court!

In downtown Estacada, Clackamas River Tap House has a wide selection of local area brews and cider available at their American Sign Language friendly tap room. With 32 craft beers on tap, it's become a neighborhood hangout for locals, and also a popular stop with traveling beer lovers exploring the Clackamas River corridor. Fill your growler on way to camping, river floating, hiking and fishing along the Clackamas River.

While you're downtown, stop by Time Travelers Brewing, a local brewhouse that produces beer grown and harvested from small farms that support family-owned businesses. They also offer a selection of burgers, barbecue dishes, wraps and salads. Wednesday’s Wine Bar brings a variety of quality wine to the growing Estacada community. Bring your partners, best friends or co-workers to create memories and conversations over great wine.

Head into downtown Estacada for a bite to eat. Favorite lunch stops include Granny’s Drive-Thru for old fashioned burgers and milkshakes or a new food cart pod next to Clackamas River Outfitters that’s bursting with variety and flavor. While you’re downtown, be sure to admire the public murals. There are over 20 decorating the town, with a new mural painted every year! Stop in to the Spiral Gallery for even more local art.
