6 Things To Do During The Halloween Season

Uncover the hidden history around Oregon City on a Northwest Ghost Tour. Long time resident and history enthusiast Rocky Smith leads a number of tours highlighting suspected paranormal activity. The McLoughlin Tour, Downtown Oregon City and the newest, the Oregon Trail Ghost Tour. While Halloween is obviously the busiest time, tour season runs July through December. 

Canby Haunted House

No Halloween season is complete without a visit to a haunted house, and Canby has one of the best. Created by the group Creatures Of The Night, they create an experience that is tailored to each participant, so the level of fright is never more than what they can stand. 

Corn Maze In The Dark

Corn mazes are a staple when it comes to fall fun. Liepold Farms adds a spooky touch to it on Oct. 15 with their Corn Maze In The Dark. Liepold is always known for their Fall Festival which is routinely included in lists of the best festivals in the state. They add a bit of spooky spice to the mix when they open up the corn maze and allow guests to navigate it, or attempt to, at night. 

Oregon City Harvest

The Downtown Oregon City Association is kicking off an inaugural event on Oct. 29. Starting at 12 pm, the festival will include a kids art section, family photo booth, games and all sorts of food and shopping vendors. 

Spooky October Sky Paint Night

Want to do something a bit different to mark Halloween? Jump in to one of Art-O-Maddic's popular art classes. The Spooky October Sky Paint Night will help participants create a creepy scene perfect to display at home as part of their Halloween décor. The class is on Oct 15, with other Halloween themed classes afterwards. 

Halloween Downtown Trick Or Treat

The city of Molalla is bringing Halloween downtown with a Trick or Treat event on Oct. 31 from 4:30 - 7:30 pm. Downtown businesses will be handing out candy to excited children. It's a fun, all-in-one location perfect for people looking for a controlled trick-or-treating experience.
