Introducing Canby’s Coolest New Spot: The Canby Beer Library

What happens when you take a former library building in Canby and mix it with the award winning craft beer of Oregon City Brewing? You get the Canby Beer Library, a taproom that’s as unique as its name! Located in the former Canby Municipal Library, this 11,000-square-foot renovated spot is sure to become a favorite location for residents and visitors alike.

The taproom side of the building features a cool concrete bar complete with 51 taps to choose from—45 of which pour their very own craft beers and house-made sodas. This area also will house Oregon City Brewing’s barrel-aging program, with future plans to add stainless steel blending tanks and oak foudres.

The other half of the location features a heated, outdoor food cart pod, complete with a permanent roof with skylights covering ample seating options with seven food trucks: Adelina’s Mexican Food, Alani Mediterranean, Zula’s Tea & Coffee, Blessing Bites Fish & Chips, Church of Smoke BBQ, Poundtown Smashburgers and Esan Thai.

Leaning into the library theme, there are book-themed beer display boards and taster trays. In the merchandise area, visitors can purchase books from the Friends of the Canby Library Book Garden, proceeds of which will go to the Friends of the Canby Library.
