4th Of July Events In Mt. Hood Territory

Canby Independence Day Celebration

Prepare for a full day of fun at the Canby Independence Day Celebration! Food/drink and arts/craft booths open at 9:30am and run until 3pm in Wait Park. The parade starts at 10am as floats, vintage cars and fire trucks make their way down NW 1st Ave. The car show also starts at 10am at N Grant and NW 5th Ave. Many more events happen throughout the day, culminating in the fireworks show at Trost Elementary launching at dusk.

Happy Valley 4th of July Family Festival

Happy Valley celebrates Independence Day by kicking things off with a 2.6 mile hike. Those interested in taking part in the easy hike should meet in the parking lot on SE 145th by the retention pond before 9:30am. The Family Parade starts at noon where floats will make their way down SE 145th between SE Ridgecrest Rd and SE King Rd. The Family Festival begins at 1pm at Happy Valley Park with live music. The city will then light up the night with a fireworks display at dusk, also at Happy Valley Park.

Lake Oswego Parade and Laser Light Show

Don your patriotic colors, decorate your wagons and join friends and neighbors for the annual Lake Oswego Star Spangled Parade. Delight in festive floats, musical entertainment, vibrant vehicles and costumed canines as they march down A Avenue to Millennium Plaza Park via Second Street. Then, continue the celebration at Millennium Plaza Park with live music, face painting, balloon animals, a pie eating contest and more! 

The fun of the 4th of July continues with a concert from Satin Love Orchestra, a high energy disco and dance band, and closes with a laser light show, a spectacular displace of lights in the sky. The concert starts at 8pm and the light show begins at approximately 10:05pm. Bring your blankets, pillows and low sand chairs. Additional activities include food trucks, face painting and fun for all!

Molalla Buckeroo

Independence Day starts a bit early in Molalla with the annual Molalla Buckeroo. A tradition more than a century in the making, the Buckeroo starts on July 1 with the kick-off party and is followed by ranked rodeo action. The party comes to a crescendo at 8pm on July 4 with live music and the fireworks show. All the action happens at 815 Shirley St. Don't miss this awesome Rodeo!

Sandy 4th of July Celebration

Bring the whole family to Sandy High School on Tuesday, July 4th, for a spectacular fireworks show at the Sandy 4th of July Celebration

The fun continues July 6-8 with the Sandy Music Fair & Feast. It all happens at the downtown Sandy Centennial Plaza on the Corner of Hoffman Avenue and Pioneer Blvd.

Enjoy the summer sun and reunite with friends and family while listening to live music. We’ve got great food vendors, fantastic music and dancing, a popular beer and wine garden.

Wilsonville 4th of July Laser Light Show

Join Wilsonville Parks and Recreation for the second annual 4th of July Laser Light Show at Town Center Park. The show begins when it's dark enough for the lasers (est. 9:45pm-10:00pm). Bring your own blanket or lawn chair, and enjoy the show! No charge.
