10 Family Activities To Enjoy In Mt. Hood Territory

Mt. Hood Territory offers an array of fun activities that are excellent for family bonding and recharging those batteries. It's the perfect kind of trip to take over spring break to ensure an action packed adventure or just to get the kids out of the house while on break from school. 

1. Wippersnappers

Watch your kids burn off some energy with tunnel slides, a trampoline room, monkey rings and web crawls, while you lounge nearby enjoying a local beer or wine in front of a big screen at Wippersnappers in Sandy. 

2. Mt. Talbert Nature Park

On a sunny spring day, get outside and embark on the four-mile trail network inside the beautiful escape that is Mt. Talbert Nature Park. it's just steps away from restaurants and shopping, but you would never realize it while hiking the trails. So soak up the scenery and endorphins and then order some appetizers at Happy Valley Station to help your family refuel.  

3. Mt. Hood Skibowl

When the snow sticks around for a while, hit the slopes at Mt. Hood Skibowl for short-sleeve, sunshiny skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Pro tip: Can't visit in the springtime? In the summer you can experience adrenaline-pumping high-altitude fun with Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl's Tree Top Action Zone and try 800 feet of ziplines, the Alpine Slide or Malibu Raceway. 4. North Clackamas Aquatic Park

Make a splash with the whole family at the North Clackamas Aquatic Park that features over 400,000 gallons of fun, including the largest wave pool in Oregon! Plus, ample water slides, age specific areas and a 29-foot rock climbing wall will keep your kids entertained and active. 

5. Splat Action Paintball

Form a family team at the largest paintball arena in Oregon and work together to come away victorious at Splat Action Paintball. With over 47 acres just outside of Molalla, it's quite an experience your family won't soon forget.

6. Bullwinkle's Entertainment

Explore the newly renovated Bullwinkle's Entertainment in Wilsonville. Buzz around in go-karts or bumper boats, play a round of miniature golf and cruise the zipline courses outside. Then head indoors to their huge arcade, as well as their brand new 16-lane bowling center.

7. Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch

"Alpaca the bags, you 'paca the family" and head to Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch in Molalla to meet and learn about your favorite furry friends with the cutest facial expressions. They've been voted as the #1 Fan Favorite Destination in Oregon for 2020, so how can you not visit?  

8. eNRG Kayaking

Join a kayaking tour along the Willamette River and take in breathtaking views of Willamette Falls with eNRG Kayaking. Depending on the season you might see some fish beneath you, sea lions beside you and osprey overhead.

9. Museum of the Oregon Territory

10. North American Bigfoot Center

People say it's pretty squatchy around Mt. Hood Territory, and the folks behind the North American Bigfoot Center in Boring will show just how true that is. With different exhibits showing photo, video and physical evidence, you and the family just may believe too.
