This timeless classic follows the transformative journey of Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl, as she undergoes a linguistic and social makeover at the hands of arrogant phonetics professor, Henry Higgins. With an iconic score by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, set against the backdrop of Edwardian London, the musical captures the clash of class dynamics and the complexities of identity in a society obsessed with appearances. As Eliza navigates the pitfalls of high society, she grapples with questions of self-worth and belonging, ultimately challenging the rigid constraints of her time.
