Join the City of Sandy as they officially open up Sandy's newest park, Cedar Park. Cedar Park is home to a 10,000 square foot adventure playground, a 1/4 mile walking loop, plenty of greenspace, a connector path to the multiuse Cedar Creek Trail, and is home to Base Camp- A brand new skate park and pump track, along with multiple jump lines. Base Camp features 1-acre of hard surface riding area. At the Grand Opening, there will be speeches, a ribbon cutting, skating and biking demonstrations, food trucks + drinks, music, and swag. You'll learn the basics of glass cutting and fusing, all while enjoying a joyful, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s the perfect creative activity for everyone. Whether you're a beginner or an art lover, you'll end up with a stunning handmade ornament, (or a few) and memories to cherish. Price includes one fused glass ornament. Additional ornaments can be made for $12 each during class. Finished pieces will be taken to Sweet Lomy Art Studio in Gladstone to be melted in a kiln and returned in 10 - 14 days.
