EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Alzheimer's Weekend at Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

Join Woodenshoe Tulip Farm during Alzheimer’s Weekend to raise awareness and fundraise to support the Alzheimer’s Association. In 2014, Dorothy Iverson, matriarch to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, lost her battle with Dementia. Worldwide, 50 million people are living with Alzheimer's and other Dementias. Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is joining alliances with the Alzheimer's Association to change the future of all those affected.

Meet the new spring babies with Triskelee Farm's Baby Animal Tour every weekend in March & April. Join for a fun-filled day meeting and interacting with adorable baby animals! Get up close and personal with cute little baby lambs and a baby alpaca. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers of all ages to learn about these sweet creatures and maybe even make some new furry friends. Don't miss out on this exciting event! Triskelee will also have farm to table eats available.

Historic 1937 Steiner Church Public Tours The Historic 1937 Steiner Church

After decades of meticulous restoration, the beautiful and historic 1937 Steiner Log Church is now open to the public for self-guided tours every first Saturday of the month, throughout the year. Step inside and immerse yourself in the magic of one of the finest historical destinations found in Oregon!

Il Cantastorie (The Storyteller) | Art exhibition imperfecta.

The Imperfecta Gallery is excited to invite you to Il Cantastorie (The Storyteller), an exhibition featuring Italian illustrator Marco Calvi and artdoll artist Gioconda Pieracci. On view from April 5 to April 26, the show features an impressive collection of original artdolls, illustrations and stories that retrace the travels of "Il Cantastorie" (The Storyteller) – a mysterious and immortal figure who crosses eras, legends and dreams. Each artwork in the exhibition focuses on a step in the journey of this wondrous character, as he aimlessly wanders around the world meeting new people and mythical creatures. Viewers are guided on this magical journey, one artwork to the next, by Il Cantastorie himself, thanks to Italian author Federico Grasso, who wrote all narrations for this special exhibition. The opening reception is on Saturday April 5th from 5 to 7pm.

Noises Off Lakewood Center for the Arts

Written by Michael Frayn, Noises Off, is a hilarious spoof of those English bedroom comedies that seem to run endlessly in the English provinces. In theatre terminology, “noises off” refers to commotion offstage. In Frayn’s play, the noises are the backstage yelps and battle cries of the actors who find themselves caught in a sex farce of their own.

Spring on The Farm Triskelee Farm

Time: 10am - 2pm

Join Triskelee Farm for an eggciting day at the farm! Come for eggs hunts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, crafts, and bouncing around. The bunny will be making appearances from 10:30-1:30pm The eggs hunt is suitable for all kid ages. Eggs are empty and there is no set times. Come hunt for eggs and redeem age appropriate goodies. We'll have have golden eggs filled with extra special redeemable prizes. Some might even be for the adults. Add on a baby animal farm tour at 10 am or 1 pm to see the mama sheep and their little lambs! Food (burgers) and drink (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) will be available for purchase. March 29th will have a special visit from Cousins Maine Lobster truck. 11-3pm

Tulip Fest is here March 21st through April 27th! The Iverson family looks forward to welcoming you to the 41st annual Tulip Festival to experience the beauty and create new memories. There are millions of beautiful tulips for guests to enjoy on the family farm. Wooden Shoe offers more than just tulips with estate grown wine, a gift shop, fresh flowers, food, vendors, and kid's activities during the festival. New this year; Colorblind visitors can check out color correcting sunglasses to enjoy while viewing the flowers.
