Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Ho ho ho! Gather ’round, my merry friends, because this year’s Winter Fair is going to be more magical than ever before! To keep things exciting this years route for the twinkling lights has changed and this year you’ll now embark on a delightful journey down to the rodeo arena! Along your way, you’ll be dazzled by what's been crafted with over 200,000 shimmering lights and enchanting scenes. This half-mile walk will whisk you through tunnels of wonder, leading you straight to the arena, where a 30-minute Christmas tree show will light up the night with joy! After you’ve soaked in all those dazzling lights, head inside to warm your hands and heart with a cup of hot cocoa. And don’t forget to check out our over 30 festive vendors—perfect for finding those special gifts for family and friends!

Fall Cocktail Class Trail Distilling

Celebrate Fall and the upcoming holidays! Join Trail Distilling for a fun evening of mixology and explore the rich and warming flavors of fall. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn essential bartending techniques, discover tips and tricks for perfecting your drinks, and enjoy tasting your creations. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or a beginner, this class is the perfect way to celebrate the season and impress your friends with your new skills. There will be a drawing for a cocktail set. Grab dinner at one of the food trucks too. Cheers to a cozy and flavorful autumn!

Part Yoga, Part Animal Assisted Therapy. Goat Yoga is about disconnecting from day to day stress, illness or depression and focusing on happy vibes! Fall is the perfect time of year to visit the farm! Beginner level yoga class taught with the company of the goats! 30-minutes of yoga followed by Goat Happy Hour which is free time with the goats to take pictures and enjoy goat cuddles. Class is held inside a cozy barn in inclement weather and outdoors when it’s nice out. It can be chilly, dressing in layers is recommend. *No yoga experience needed. Limited parking, carpooling highly encouraged. Yoga Mats for rent for $5.00. Please arrive 10-15 minutes to check-in for class.

Stained Glass Window Workshop Red Chair Farm

This will be about a 2-1/2 hour class and you will walk away with a stained glass window installed with hooks and small chain to hang. Instructors will provide you a large rustic barnwood window for you to design using many varieties of beautiful glass and sea glass pieces. This is a bit of a messy activity but aprons, gloves and all tools needed to utilize your work station will be provided and make this a great experience with a gorgeous souvenir to take home!
