Outdoor Recreation

Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory is the place to find year 'round skiing and Olympic-class snowboarding. Play in the snow in the morning and golf in the afternoon. Pitch your tent in one of many campgrounds and cast your fishing line in a nearby lake or river. White-water raft, kayak, skydive, bird watch, horseback ride, hike, and get on your bike for epic bicycling events and wicked off-road trails. You are sure to find your own style of adventure in The Territory's 1,879 square miles. Mt. Hood National Forest and BLM forest use passes, and Sno Park permits are available at the Ranger District offices or sold at various retail outlets along Hwy 26.
