The fun starts 12 miles south of Portland’s International Airport on I-205 at Clackamas Town Center, one of Oregon's largest malls. The newly-renovated mall features 40 new stores and restaurants, including upscale retailers such as Coach and REI. Nordstrom, Macy's, JC Penney, and Sears, as anchor stores, plus a newly designed center court, and 20-screen movie theater (largest in Oregon). Just across the street is the Clackamas Promenade with Kohl’s, Nordstrom Rack, Target, and Old Navy as anchors.

A shopping excursion you won't want to miss is a visit to the exclusive Lake View Village in Lake Oswego. This collection of boutique stores includes Sur La Table, Ravenna Gardens, CC McKenzie, Pendleton Woolen Mills and Urbane Zen to name just a few, offers everything from upscale baby clothes to garden art to the finest kitchen gadgets. Shopping builds appetites and those can be soothed at FiveSpice, Manzana Rotisserie Grill, Zeppo's Italian Restaurant, or Peet's Coffee & Cafe.
