The Territory in Film

If you are considering film locations, we offer the spectacular Cascade Mountains, wild rivers, rough and tumble towns, as well as metro panache. The dedicated Oregon Film and Video Office lives to make your life easier, and offers a broad spectrum of essential assistance.

Oregon has been able to attract more production to the state through the Oregon Production Investment Fund and Greenlight Oregon, offering a financial incentive to qualified productions. As icing on the cake, Oregon has no sales tax, and no time-consuming paperwork to complete to prove your exempt status.

There is a reason that productions ranging from feature films such as "Twilight" and "The Shining," to the "Leverage" television series have chosen to work in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory. Beginning in 1919 with "Martyrs of Yesterday," Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory has decades of successful production assistance.

Two of the three Oregon Governor's Film Advocate Awards in 2008 were awarded to Clackamas County contributors for their outstanding service. We're here to help you hit your mark.
