This grant program is part of Clackamas County Tourism’s mission to assist our local communities and organizations through effective Tourism asset development and marketing.
Development Grants are open to public, private and nonprofit organizations whose project benefits the greater public interests of tourism development. Grant monies will not be awarded to projects that emphasize private profitability and / or one where the investment could be considered a regular cost of doing business. Eligibility criteria can be found in the Application packet, including budget worksheet.
This grant program provides funds for local tourism related projects to communities that have a Tourism Action Plan. Applicable projects are those that will bring visitors into a community to shop, dine, recreate or to learn about local history or culture, with the paramount goal of enticing travelers to book overnight stays in local lodging establishments. Funds are distributed to communities annually. Solicitations for proposals, selection, and allocations decisions are handled by a local committee. All nessesary documents can be found in the Partners Document Center.
