The Clackamas County Tourism & Cultural Affairs is overseen by the Clackamas County Tourism Development Council (CCTDC). The members of CCTDC are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to advise them on developing and promoting tourism and the expenditure of the TRT funds.
There are nine members of the Council who serve three year terms and can be reappointed once to serve a total of six years. The members represent the diversity of the County in terms of business interests, geographic locations and community involvement. Vacancies on the CCTDC are announced through the local media. Applications are accepted for review and the appointments are made from those applications best matching the CCTDC needs. The Council meets monthly.
